Designer's Profile
A visual artist, Shahril majored in painting at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia. His works has been exhibited in Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Yogyakarta and Melbourne. He has illustrated for several book covers. They include Malay Sketches by Alfian Sa'at, Heart & Soul by Bibsy Soenharjo and Malaysian & German Folk Tales and Legends. Shahril also dabbles in poetry and has published a book of poems and illustrations entitled If Only.
Shahril sees art as a way to inspire others to go beyond their limits, to explore our possibilities and to experience transcendence.
